In these unprecedented circumstances, we are all being asked to extend beyond our normal way of working -- this includes how we teach and learn. Angela Sweeney, Curriculum Design Specialist in BERST Academy, has created BERST Remote Teaching Resources Online to support the innovative development of online educational content for each other and our learners across the health professions.

Features include links to the following resources:

  • Considerations for teaching amid COVID-19
  • Baystate-supported tools for teaching
  • Clinical education resources
  • Presentation tools
  • Online conference resources
  • How to apply for continuing education credit with fast-tracking for COVID-19
  • A “How-to” and FAQ page that is regularly updated

Let’s keep learning.

Wishing you and yours good health,

BERST Membership

The beauty of our BERST community is its diversity of voices at the table. BERST provides the opportunity to network with a diverse group of educators both in and outside of our institution. The growth of this social network is critical as good teaching grows through feedback and collaboration. Additionally, we hope that it leads to more interprofessional educational collaboration outside of BERST. Our members rate the diversity of our community as one of the key benefits of their membership.

As a BERST member, you will:

  • Engage with an interprofessional community of educators across the institution
  • Explore key principles of education through innovative professional development sessions
  • Advance your career as a teacher, coach, advisor, or leader
  • Attend regular professional development where continuing education credit is provided
