Ordering through Loansome Doc

Using Loansome Doc can save you time when you need to place orders for articles. You can order anytime DOCLINE is available. When you search PubMed, go through your search results and check the boxes next to articles you need. Your requests will be sent automatically to our library for fulfillment. There’s no need to type in any citation information, plus you can keep track of the status of your requests. Please contact the Health Sciences Library if you have any questions, or take a look at the Loansome Doc Fact Sheet for more detailed information.

Baystate Patrons: Loansome Doc service is available to all employees and medical staff of Baystate Medical Center with valid IDs. Be sure to indicate Baystate Health Sciences Library when you sign up for an account.  We will fulfill your requests in a timely manner and when you need an article that is not in our print or electronic collection, we will refer your request to another lending library to fill. Articles can be delivered to you electronically, by fax, by mail or printed out for pick-up.

Unaffiliated Users: In the New England region, non-affiliated life sciences professionals and the public can sign up for a Loansome Doc account with Baystate Health Sciences Library. We deliver articles from our print collection to public and non-affiliated users who qualify.

If you are not affiliated with Baystate you must indicate it in your registration. When you identify yourself as a non-affiliate, please use the Comment to Library field to indicate the type of work you do or any special comments -- for instance, if you work for a non-profit organization. Persons researching on behalf of commercial or for-profit entities may be referred to Copyright Clearance Center or Infotrieve.com .
