Baystate Nursing Resource

  • Lippincott Nursing Procedural & Skills Manual
    Also accessible from the Baystate Nursing Home page, this key title of universal best practice has been customized to include Baystate-specific procedures. Available for both Nursing and Respiratory Procedures.

CE Opportunities

  • Ovid Articles
    Read articles on various topics, take the accompanying tests, and mail the answers and registration fee indicated on the test form. Each activity is typically worth 2.0 contact hours and costs $21.95.
    You can also take the tests online at the Nursing Center address listed below.
  • Nursing Center
    Read articles and take the corresponding tests for ANCC contact hours.

The Baystate Health Sciences Library offers many useful resources for nurses. We provide access to journals, databases, and print and electronic books to support your committee work or research projects, and to help you practice evidence-based nursing. Please browse through the resources listed on the navigation tabs above.

Learning To Use the Library Databases

If you are wondering how to best use the library databases and other information resources, we offer several options:  

(1) Call the Reference Librarian at 794-1291 to schedule an appointment if you would like an overview of all of the library resources that could be relevant to your project or your daily work.

(2) Call the library information desk at 794-1865 with a quick question that may be answerable by phone.
