Why TigerConnect?

TigerConnect is an industry-leading solution enabling care teams to communicate in a secure, HIPAA-compliant manner while streamlining and improving communication throughout our facilities and community.

What Action do I Need to Take?

Please work directly with the Baystate TigerConnect team and follow the implementation dates referenced below to ensure this initial deployment happens within the timeframe. Start talking with team members and staff letting them know TigerConnect is coming soon. For all training material please access the training page; reference the section for Getting Started on all platforms.

Who will have access to TigerConnect? 

Everyone that has Cortext today will be enrolled into TigerConnect. TigerConnect will be enabled to the enterprise on September 11. TigerConnect is integrated with network usernames and passwords making it easier for users to log in. All Baystate users will be provided a welcome email from TigerConnect that contains login instructions, downloading the application and support information. TigerConnect is already connected to the on-call services for after-hours support.

When will I be able to use additional TigerConnect features? 

TigerConnect will work with your organization’s administrator to deploy advanced features helping teams further improve how they communicate. These features include:

• Text care team members in a secure, HIPAA-compliant way
• See when messages are delivered and read
• Set Do Not Disturb auto-replies
• Message forwarding and priority messaging
• Recall errant messages
• Messages auto delete after 20 days
• Send group messages - adding/removing people as necessary
• Attach images and documents

Important Dates:

September 5:

• Cortext freeze, no accounts will be created/reactivated
• All pilot users will have received the welcome email
• TigerConnect desktop and MDM devices will have TigerConnect installed

September 11:

• All current Cortext users from Baystate Health and external practices will receive the welcome email

September 25:

• Cortext’s last day - all users will be disabled and the application will be uninstalled on all desktops and MDM devices.
