Goal and Objectives

Program Goal

The goal of the Educational Research Lecture Series is to improve the quantity and rigor of educational research at Baystate to foster innovative education for our health care professionals and support high quality care of current and future patients.

Learner Objective

By participating in this continuing education program, the attendee should be able to:

   1. Understand the applications of Qualitative research in medicine and medical education

   2. Develop a personal framework for applying qualitative methods

Articles on Qualitative Research

These articles provide good examples of or instruction in qualitative research. However, many more examples exist in scholarly journals! Also, don't forget to check out Feed the Educator, where qualitative research is also highlighted.
