This lecture describes the Duke University Experience with Medical Education Research and the IRB.
By the end of this lecture, participants will be able to:
1. Summarize the background and development of the Duke Health Professions Education Research IRB Template
2. Recognize how the template may provide guidance and support for the IRB and researchers
3. Identify opportunities to apply the concepts from this template to our participants own educational research projects
4. Utilize realistic scenarios to identify IRB related challenges and solutions to Educational Research.
